Cardano Rebounds as Governance Milestones Clear the Way for ADA Gains
Cardano's ADA token has rebounded above $0.20 after clearing an important governance hurdle, removing uncertainty that had been weighing on its price. The network's Constitutional Committee renewal passed with a narrow margin of just 0.18%, ensuring that expiring committee seats won't interfere with future treasury withdrawals, protocol changes, and hard-fork decisions.
The vote was crucial as the Constitutional Committee checks whether governance actions comply with Cardano's constitution. Other governance tools are also moving forward, including a Constitutional Amendment Portal that allows ADA holders to propose and discuss changes, and the latest Daedalus release adding a DRep directory for easier delegated voting navigation.
Meanwhile, AlphaPepe's presale has attracted over 11,500 holders and raised more than $2.58 million at its current price of $0.02873 in Stage 20. The project plans to close its presale and begin DEX trading in Q1 2027 with listings planned from $0.08.
