Cardano Releases Node Update 11.1.1 Ahead of Dijkstra Hard Fork
Cardano has released its latest node update, version 11.1.1, ahead of the upcoming Dijkstra hard fork. This maintenance release removes legacy tracing and addresses known Genesis-related operational issues.
The update does not introduce the full set of planned ledger features or activate the Dijkstra era, but it is a crucial step towards preparing for the major network upgrade.
Node 11.2 will be released in about one month and will contain most of the Dijkstra feature set for testing, excluding Leios components initially.
DijkstraNet, a public testnet, will be launched after node 11.2 to allow developers and stakeholders to test the broader protocol version 12 feature set, including Plutus V4, nested transactions, and CIP-50 parameters.
