Cardano Releases Node Version 11.1.1 Ahead of Dijkstra Hard Fork
The Cardano network has taken another step towards its next major era with the release of node version 11.1.1, which paves the way for the upcoming Dijkstra hard fork.
The release removes legacy tracing and addresses known Genesis-related operational issues, and is intended to be used on the current mainnet.
According to Intersect's roadmap, the next milestone will be node version 11.2, which will open most of the Dijkstra feature set for testing, but exclude Leios components initially.
DijkstraNet, a public test network, is expected after node 11.2 becomes available, and will allow developers to test the broader protocol version 12 feature set, including Plutus V4, Nested Transactions, and CIP-50 parameters.
