Crypto markets presented a mixed picture on Wednesday morning, with sharp moves in both directions as traders navigated a turbulent session.

Cardano was the standout performer, surging 16.47% to $0.19, making it one of the most dramatic single-session moves across major coins.

Avalanche and BNB also found buyers, climbing 2.64% to $6.59 and 1.79% to $581.61 respectively, while XRP inched higher by 0.49% to $1.08.

However, Ethereum bore the brunt of selling pressure, plunging 3.06% to $1,850.16 in a notable retreat that will unsettle sentiment across the broader altcoin market.
