Cardano Surges on Improved Network Activity and Institutional Interest
Cardano (ADA) has been gaining momentum after months of being under pressure. The cryptocurrency's price has risen by nearly 27-29% to around $0.21, supported by a surge in network activity and new institutional developments.
The recent recovery is also reflected in the ADA/BTC chart, which has shown improvement. Analyst Crypto Dossier predicts that ADA may outperform Bitcoin by 2-4 times during a broader bull market, citing a breakout in the ADA/BTC ratio above its 200-day moving average.
Looking at historical trends, ADA has consistently delivered strong relative performance against Bitcoin, with some gains exceeding multi-fold increases beyond BTC's percentage moves. According to Crypto Dossier, if Bitcoin reaches $150,000, ADA could potentially reach $1.50, and with stronger catalysts such as a U.S. spot ETF and scalability upgrades, the price could surge even higher.
Another analyst, Crypto Patel, is more bullish on ADA's prospects, targeting prices of $0.28, $0.50, $1, $2, $3, and eventually $5+. However, he also identifies a potential accumulation zone around $0.16-$0.09 and warns that a two-week close below $0.08 would invalidate his setup.
The Cardano network has seen a significant increase in activity, with daily transactions rising above 24,000 before climbing another 33% to 32,841. The total number of processed transactions since 2017 now stands at around 123 million, while developer activity remains strong with over 303,000 commits tracked by Chainspect.
Cardano's stablecoin market cap has also crossed $62.5 million, with USDCx accounting for roughly $44 million. Institutional interest in ADA is improving, with T. Rowe Price adding it to its Active Crypto ETF with a 0.44% allocation.
