Cardano Taps AlphaGrowth and Draper to Replace EMURGO
Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, has expressed his confidence in AlphaGrowth and Draper Dragon as viable replacements for EMURGO's role in the ecosystem. In a recent AMA session, Hoskinson stated that 'AlphaGrowth plus Draper Dragon functionally replaces what EMURGO was supposed to be.'
This endorsement comes after EMURGO reduced its involvement in Cardano following a $2.4 million exploit involving its SecondFi wallet. The firm stepped back from its Pentad role and announced changes to its governance participation.
AlphaGrowth has been contributing to Cardano's decentralized finance (DeFi) expansion through its PRIME program, which aims to strengthen liquidity across the DeFi ecosystem. Meanwhile, Draper complements AlphaGrowth's efforts with its strategic involvement in Cardano's investment and institutional growth initiatives.
