Cardano Transaction Count Soars to Record High
Cardano has seen a significant surge in network activity over the past day, with daily transactions increasing by 33% to reach a record high of 32,841. This marks the highest daily throughput for the network since the previous week, according to data from blockchain fundamentals platform Chainspect.
The recent spike in transaction volume is not an isolated incident, as Cardano's cumulative transaction count has been steadily growing since its launch in September 2017. To date, the network has processed approximately 123.02 million transactions.
Cardano's developer activity also continues to remain strong, with Chainspect recording 303,143 commits for the network. While this still lags behind larger ecosystems like Polkadot and Ethereum, Cardano ranks ahead of several major projects, including Arbitrum and Optimism.
