Cardano Verifies Half-Million Supply Chain Records with Hybrid Blockchain System

Cardano has collaborated with Blockforce to launch a hybrid blockchain system that verifies over 500,000 supply chain records. This dual-ledger approach keeps commercial data on a private network while storing cryptographic proofs on Cardano's public blockchain.

The system is currently being used by Azzas 2154, a major Brazilian fashion group, for leather traceability. Contracts covering 6.5 million records through 2030 are already in place, with plans to expand into other industries such as automotive and pharmaceuticals.

This innovation aims to address the challenges faced by enterprises in using blockchain technology, providing secure and verifiable supply chain data without exposing sensitive information.
