The Cardano-focused cryptocurrency wallet SecondFi is still reeling from a massive hack in June that saw 16.1 million ADA tokens stolen, worth approximately $2.4 to $2.6 million at the time.

The attackers compromised 374 digital wallets between June 21 and 23, but fortunately, another 129 million ADA was secured before it could be taken by hackers.

Despite this near miss, the incident has had significant consequences for SecondFi, with the project's technical team responding promptly to secure the assets at risk and transferring them to an independent custodian.
