Cardano Whale Accumulation Falls Short of Price Breakthrough
Cardano's ADA token has seen an uptick in whale accumulation over the past week, but its price outlook remains unclear.
Data from Santiment shows that addresses holding between 1 million and 10 million ADA have added roughly 150 million tokens in the last 10 days, worth around $108 million.
This trend often suggests large holders are positioning for a price rebound, but it has not translated into sustained upward momentum. In fact, ADA's price has remained range-bound between $0.68 and $0.75 for over two weeks.
The market is currently driven by macroeconomic factors, including interest rate expectations and risk appetite, which can override on-chain metrics. Additionally, regulatory uncertainty persists, particularly in the U.S., where the SEC's classification of ADA as a security continues to create legal overhang.
