Cardano Whale Wallets Fuel Price Surge as Breakout Above $0.205 Looms
Cardano (ADA) has seen a significant surge in price today, rising by 7.01% to trade at $0.197. This increase has pushed ADA above its key short- and medium-term moving averages, while it remains below its longer-term trend signals.
The asset's recent performance can be attributed to the accumulation of large whale wallets, which have added around 240 million ADA in just five days. This concentration of tokens has tightened available float among smaller holders, supporting upward demand pressure and reinforcing current momentum.
Additionally, Cardano recently completed its Van Rossem hard fork on July 18, marking a significant protocol upgrade that enhances platform capabilities and signals increasing decentralization.
The short-term outlook for ADA/USD is bullish, with forecasts indicating a $0.189 to $0.205 trading range over the next several days. A breakout above $0.205 could lead to additional gains, while a loss of support at $0.189 would increase the risk of further declines.
