Cardano Whales Drive Price Surge to One-Month High

Cardano's ADA token has reached its highest price in nearly a month, hitting $0.195 due to activity from larger traders, known as 'whales'. This price increase is significant, as it marks a one-month high for the token.

The network still lags behind in terms of user growth, with about 7,070 fewer non-empty wallets compared to two months ago. Despite this, Cardano's ecosystem has continued to advance, with progress in areas like Leios, Hydra, Mithril, Pyth integration, and Catalyst funding.

The rise in ADA's price can also be attributed to larger spot orders, as indicated by CryptoQuant's average order-size data showing 'big whale orders' at the time of writing. However, it's essential to note that stronger order sizes alone do not guarantee a lasting rally.

Aggregated open interest has increased to around $264 million, with a positive average funding rate of 0.0057. While this is bullish, it also increases liquidation risk, making spot demand and wallet activity recovery crucial for the rally's sustainability.
