Cardano's 7% Surge Driven by Protocol Upgrades and Ecosystem Growth
Cardano's native token has led the top 25 cryptocurrencies by market cap in terms of growth, increasing by 7% in recent times. This surge is largely attributed to the acceleration of on-chain metrics and protocol upgrades that have been unfolding over the past six months.
The Cardano ecosystem has seen a significant boost in decentralized exchange activity, with daily volumes hitting 245.31 million ADA and seven-day totals reaching $151.01 million in late August.
At the protocol layer, Leios advanced from simulations to the Earth phase of MusashiNet, achieving a throughput of 26.8 TxkB/s, which is six times the baseline of 4.51 TxkB/s set by Praos. Meanwhile, Hydra and Midgard rollups have matured, and the $80 million Orion Fund has entered initial deployment.
As ADA currently trades at $0.21, it's testing upper Bollinger resistance while maintaining a neutral momentum reading with an RSI(14) of 61.29. This combination leaves room for continued growth before any potential retracement towards the EMA50 support at $0.20.
Despite this, Cardano ecosystem growth and ADA scaling roadmap milestones are expected to align through late 2026, supporting sustained price prediction upside.
