Cardano's ADA Futures Hit Key Milestone as ETF Countdown Begins

The Cardano ecosystem is on the cusp of a significant milestone as its ADA futures hit a key SEC benchmark. On August 9, CME's regulated ADA futures will complete six months of trading, potentially opening a faster path for Grayscale's pending spot Cardano ETF.

This development comes as ADA surges by over 20% in the last week, making it one of the strongest performers among major cryptocurrencies. The token is currently trading near $0.1985, and whale activity has added to its bullish momentum.

The six-month milestone removes a key eligibility hurdle for a spot Cardano ETF, but it does not guarantee SEC approval. Grayscale's filing for the Grayscale Cardano Trust ETF (GADA) is pending review, and any application would face a 75-day review period after August 9.
