Cardano's ADA Price Dips, But Three Updates Hint at Rally Ahead

Cardano's ADA token price dropped by 1.4% to $0.2077 on August 27, but despite this dip, three recent updates from the network may spark a rally in the coming days.

The first update is about Bitcoin Lightning-style payment channels being built for Cardano. Ilja von Hoessle explained the technical side of it in a Developers Office Hour session, which includes state channel architecture and liquidity manager smart contract design.

Another update comes from the Leios scaling upgrade, which has finished the 'Earth' phase of its Musashi Dojo testnet. The network hit 6x mainnet throughput during this phase without even trying, according to project lead Carlos's update on Cardano's X account.

The third piece of news is about a Constitutional Committee vote closing September 1 that could unlock the Leios upgrade, but DRep and SPO support still trails the required threshold.
