Cardano's ADA Token Surges as RealFi Prepares to Test On-Chain Liquidity

Cardano's ADA token has surged by 4.8% to $0.2214, lifting its implied market value by around $382 million in just 24 hours.

This increase is significant, as it nearly six times Cardano's entire $64.1 million dollar-stablecoin base.

The move comes ahead of RealFi's planned launch on October 1, which will test the usability of on-chain liquidity for Cardano.

RealFi has been building up its reserve assets and has already begun minting a seven-figure stablecoin, with an unstaked product that emphasizes liquid assets such as tokenized money-market funds and AAA collateralized-loan-obligation exchange-traded funds.
