Cardano's ADA Token Traders Eye $0.2500 Level as Stablecoin Supply Surges
Cardano's ADA token has been trading in a tight range despite the recent Hydra 2.4.1 upgrade, which aimed to enhance network security by fixing a bug that allowed malicious actors to steal funds.
The upgrade also saw the release of Plu-stan, a stable release by the Cardano High Assurance team, which addressed common pitfalls developers face when building applications on the platform.
However, data shows that the total value locked (TVL) in the network has dropped to $54 million, its lowest level since 2023, indicating limited activity on the network. To incentivize development, Charles Hoskinson and the team are working to encourage developers to build on Cardano, but this trend may take time.
On a positive note, the stablecoin supply on Cardano has surged to a record high of $68.2 million, up from its year-to-date low of $36 million. Despite this increase, the total stablecoin supply remains significantly smaller than the over $320 billion in circulation.
