Cardano's Bullish Momentum Faces Resistance as Catalysts Loom
Cardano's price has been on an upward trend in recent weeks, gaining 10.18% to reach $0.1904 and experiencing a 380% surge in futures volume from $150 million to $650 million.
The cryptocurrency is close to its nearest support at $0.1884, which it is only $0.020 away from, but also has its next resistance at $0.1967, which is just $0.063 above.
Two potential bullish catalysts for Cardano are the upcoming vote on the CLARITY Act in the U.S. Congress and the end of the 75-day seasoning period of regulated futures trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange on August 9.
The CLARITY Act, if passed, could help digital assets recover some of their losses and potentially soar above previous highs, but traders have been disappointed by Congress so far this week.
Another analyst, Michaël van de Poppe, sees the recent decrease in activity and online discussion regarding digital assets as a positive sign, calling it 'a tremendous opportunity to accumulate'.
