Cardano's Catalyst Pilot Offers 2.5M ADA to Top-Performing Projects
Cardano's Project Catalyst has launched a new funding round called the Catalyst Pilot, which will run from August 6 to August 20 at 06:00 UTC. The pilot offers a total pool of 2.5 million ADA split across 10 to 15 selected teams.
The funds are allocated as follows: 40% upfront upon onboarding, up to 40% tied to hitting usage targets within three months of deploying on mainnet, and the final 20% reserved for projects demonstrating sustained adoption beyond that initial burst.
Top-performing projects can earn performance bonuses worth up to 50% of their original grant. For example, a team awarded 200,000 ADA could potentially receive 300,000 ADA if their product gains traction.
The Catalyst Pilot is targeting four specific integration themes: oracles, stablecoins (USDM and USDCx), programmable tokens through CIP-0113, and on-chain identity via CIP-0170. Proposals must include detailed product strategies and usage plans, demonstrated through a short pitch video.
