Cardano's Interoperability Gains Momentum as ADA Hits One-Month High
Cardano's ecosystem has been expanding its interoperability capabilities through new connections and upgrades. The network recently established its first connection with Injective using the Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol on the testnet.
This integration aims to allow ADA to enter Injective's ecosystem, while INJ becomes available on Cardano. According to Injective, this represents another step towards improving Cardano's compatibility with other networks outside its existing ecosystem.
Cardano developers have shifted their focus to the upcoming Dijkstra development era, which includes planned work on Nested Transactions and Linear Leios. These upgrades are targeted for mainnet implementation by the end of the year, following the completion of the van Rossem upgrade.
The network has also moved the election of its Constitutional Committee onto the blockchain, making voting more transparent and verifiable. Additionally, ADA holders can now vote on a separate proposal to adjust some of the network's technical settings.
