Cardano's Live IBC Connection with Injective Powers Cross-Chain Transfers

Cardano has achieved another milestone in its bid to become a highly interoperable blockchain. The platform's first live on-chain Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) connection with Injective is now operational on testnet.

The integration enables native cross-chain asset transfers between the two ecosystems, allowing users to send ADA from Cardano to Injective and transfer INJ from Injective back to Cardano.

According to the announcement, this marks the beginning of a new era of interoperability between the two networks. However, both ecosystems stressed that the implementation remains experimental, with the current version only supporting Cardano Preprod and Injective Testnet with test tokens that hold no real-world value.
