Cardano's Market Value Drops 10% Amid Cryptocurrency Sell-Off

Cardano's market value plummeted on Sunday, falling by over 10% to its lowest point since June. The cryptocurrency was trading at $0.2190 on the Investing.com Index by 23:39 (03:39 GMT), marking a significant drop in value.

This downturn pushed Cardano's total market capitalization down to $8.0808 billion, accounting for just 0.31% of the entire cryptocurrency market cap. At its peak, Cardano's market capitalization reached as high as $94.8001 billion.

Over the past seven days, however, Cardano has seen a notable increase in value, rising by 24.37%. Despite this gain, its current price remains far from its all-time high of $3.10, which was set on September 2, 2021. In fact, it's now down by an astonishing 92.93%.

In related news, other major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum also experienced losses on the day. Bitcoin fell by 1.89%, while Ethereum dropped by a more significant 4.15%.
