Cardano's Price Surge Sparks Debate Over Adoption Metrics

Cardano's price has been on an upward trend lately, with a 2.60% increase today. The cryptocurrency is currently trading near $0.20992, but its short-term trend remains intact as it sits above both the Parabolic SAR and the 50-day EMA. However, a clean break above the descending trendline connecting January's peak through the past eight months of lower highs would carry more weight than clearing either one alone.

According to Cheeky Crypto Unfiltered, Cardano's widely cited 60% staking rate shows dilution avoidance rather than engagement. The video breaks down that most staking rewards come from a shrinking reserve of unissued ADA rather than network fee revenue, and the declining staking yield is presented as better evidence of what the network is actually earning.

Trader LuckSide Crypto sketched out where Cardano could land in the next cycle, using Fibonacci extensions off the prior market peak. A 1.618 extension puts a target near $2.03, while a 2.618 extension points to roughly $3.25, a fresh all-time high.
