Cardano's Slow Approach Pays Off, Says Hoskinson, Citing Anthropic Parallel
Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, has been vocal about his network's slow development strategy. In an interview with CoinDesk, he drew parallels between Cardano's approach and that of Anthropic in the AI industry. Anthropic entered the market later than its competitors but eventually surpassed them due to its disciplined development practices.
Hoskinson believes the same principle is now benefiting Cardano as the crypto space prioritizes security and governance over speed to market. He cited recent security incidents, such as the Kelp DAO exploit, which drained $292 million from the platform, as examples of the risks associated with prioritizing innovation over resilience.
Hoskinson acknowledged that Cardano's decision-making process hasn't been flawless but expressed confidence in the network's current positioning. He predicted a strong growth period for Cardano in the next 12 to 24 months.
