Cash App-MoonPay Partnership Rumors Denied

Rumors of a partnership between Cash App and MoonPay to expand cryptocurrency support have been denied by both parties as speculative and unconfirmed. According to Pluang, there is no evidence of a collaboration between the two companies. As of August 2026, Cash App, owned by Block, still only supports Bitcoin and USDC, with Lightning Network payments added in late 2025.

MoonPay, on the other hand, offers fiat on-ramp services for over 100 tokens but has not announced any partnership with Cash App. Block continues to prioritize Bitcoin in its strategy, keeping Cash App focused on Bitcoin services.
