Cash App Users Can Now Buy Ether, Solana, and XRP Through MoonPay
Cash App has expanded its digital asset offerings through a new partnership with MoonPay, allowing eligible U.S. users to purchase ether, Solana's SOL token, XRP, and USDT using their Cash App balances.
The integration enables customers to fund external wallets including Ledger, BitPay, Trust Wallet, MetaMask, and Uniswap, giving them access to a wider range of digital assets beyond the app's native bitcoin and USDC offerings.
Morgan Kuntze, Block's global partnerships lead, said that while bitcoin remains at the core of its strategy, the company wants to give customers choice and flexibility in how they pay. MoonPay handles the purchase flow, compliance, and asset delivery, while Cash App serves as the funding source.
