CashCat Listed on Robinhood: A New Era for Meme Coins

Rights management platform Robinhood has listed CashCat, a native Meme coin from its ecosystem. This move comes after a surge in market capitalization, reaching over $200 million with an 80% 24-hour gain.

CashCat is inspired by the 'crying cat' meme and is branded with Robinhood's mascot. The listing has opened new possibilities for Meme coins within its ecosystem, which now boasts a high-liquidity window with nearly $400 million in average daily crypto trading volume and over $16 billion in stock trading volume.

This development is part of Robinhood's 'RWA + Meme coin' dual-engine strategy. Before this, the platform has listed numerous Meme coins, including DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, FLOKI, BONK, MEW, MOODENG, PENGU, and PNUT.

CashCat stands out as it is a spiritual and cultural symbol of Robinhood. It was originally named CashCat, and its CEO Vlad Tenev has publicly acknowledged this fact.
