MAKE Group has launched AstralBeam, a cross-chain bridge connecting the Casper blockchain to Robinhood Chain, Base, Ethereum, and Polygon. This bridge is designed to allow tokenized real-world assets to move between networks without losing compliance rules attached to them.

The launch of AstralBeam comes at a time when tokenized securities are gaining traction, with over $32 billion in assets tokenized under ERC-3643, the compliance standard used across regulated finance. Apex Group, which manages $3.5 trillion in assets, has committed to bringing $100 billion in tokenized assets onto the T-REX Ledger by 2027.

AstralBeam uses a five-node verifier system rather than a single trusted operator, with transfers only going through once at least three of the five nodes independently confirm the transaction on its source chain. This is an attempt to avoid the single-point-of-failure design that has been behind many past bridge hacks.
