Cathie Wood Touts LayerZero as Critical Crypto Interoperability Player

Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, has highlighted the critical role that LayerZero (ZRO) plays in cross-chain messaging. In a post on X, she praised the team behind the interoperability protocol and emphasized its importance.

According to Lorenzo Valente, ARK's director of research for digital assets, LayerZero's interoperability business alone will likely reach nine-figure annual recurring revenue (ARR). This is based on data through June, which credits LayerZero with $280 billion in cumulative value transferred and 44% of cross-chain volume in the first half of 2026.

However, Wood noted that most investors do not appreciate the important role that @LayerZero_Core is playing in crypto messaging and interoperability. She singled out the founding team, specifically Bryan, Simon, and others, for their vision and efforts.
