Cathie Wood's Firm Snaps Up Circle Shares After Impressive Earnings

Cathie Wood's investment firm, Ark Invest, recently made a significant purchase of Circle Internet Group shares. The company acquired 273,343 shares across three funds on August 5, worth approximately $17.3 million.

This buy came after Circle reported its second-quarter results, which showed revenue increasing by 7% year-over-year to $701 million and adjusted EBITDA climbing 8% to $143 million.

The company's USDC circulation hit $73.3 billion at quarter-end, a 19% annual increase, while on-chain transaction volume surged 151% to $14.8 trillion year-over-year.

Despite the impressive numbers, Circle stock closed nearly flat at $63.28, up just 0.05% on the day.
