CBI Mines for Returns: Strong August Yields Boost Share Buyback Plans
Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI) has released its strategic update for August 2026, detailing its Bitcoin mining activity and share buyback plans.
The company's annualized mining yield in US dollars is above 10% due to the rise of Bitcoin towards $79,000 (+24-25% in August 2026). However, when measured in Bitcoins, the return for the month is slightly lower than July 2026 due to limitations in access to the electricity grid.
CBI plans to allocate 25% of its mining profits annually to repurchasing CBI shares on the market at a maximum price of €1 per share. This proposal will be reviewed by the Board of Directors after the Combined Annual General Meeting on September 24, 2026.
The company's portfolio of crypto-assets and related assets has increased in value due to the rise of Bitcoin. The majority shareholder, Ker Ventures, supports the proposal to buy back CBI shares at a maximum price of €1 per share.
