CBI to Repurchase Shares as Bitcoin Mining Profits Soar
Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI), a French crypto-focused company listed on Euronext Growth Paris and OTC markets, reported strong Bitcoin mining performance in August 2026. The company's Bitcoin mining servers delivered an annualized yield of above 10 percent, boosted by a 24 to 25 percent rebound in the price of Bitcoin to $79,000.
The increase in mining profitability was not without some challenges, however. Mining profitability measured in Bitcoins slipped slightly due to temporary power grid restrictions, which highlights the sensitivity of yields to various factors such as server prices, electricity costs, and network difficulty.
In response to this improved performance, CBI plans to allocate 25 percent of its mining profits towards repurchasing its own shares on the market at a maximum price of €1 per share. This move is backed by majority shareholder Ker Ventures and aligns with management's capital return strategy, which aims to support the company's share price.
CBI stresses that its business and stock are highly volatile and best suited for investors who can withstand substantial losses.
