Cboe BZX Seeks SEC Approval for First 3x Leveraged Crypto ETFs
Cboe BZX Exchange has filed a proposal with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to list six new 3x leveraged exchange-traded funds (ETFs) on its platform.
The proposed funds would track the performance of bitcoin, ether, gold, silver, crude oil, and natural gas futures contracts listed on various exchanges, including the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).
Volatility Shares, a U.S. asset manager, will manage the funds and invest in front-month and next-month futures contracts instead of holding spot crypto assets.
