Cboe Seeks SEC Approval for 3x Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs
Cboe's BZX Exchange has submitted a proposal to list triple-leveraged Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, which could give investors a new way to amplify their exposure to these digital assets.
The proposed funds would be sponsored by Volatility Shares and primarily use futures contracts traded on regulated CME markets to achieve their investment objectives.
This development represents another significant expansion of crypto investment products within traditional financial markets, as spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs have already created a regulated route for investors who want cryptocurrency exposure without directly holding digital assets.
