CCC Token Exploit Drains $117K After Attacker Targets BSC Liquidity Pool

A BNB Smart Chain (BSC) token called CCC suffered an estimated $117,000 loss due to an exploit that targeted its liquidity pool.

TenArmorAlert reported on August 28th that the attacker manipulated the token contract's sell() function to burn tokens directly from the LP pair.

This caused abnormal price movement in the token's value and is a common attack mechanism used by hackers to drain assets from liquidity pools.
