CCI Urges OCC to Reconsider Stablecoin Reporting Rules

The Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) has submitted comments to the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) regarding its proposed stablecoin reporting rules.

The CCI, which supports responsible payment stablecoin adoption, believes that the current rules are too broad and could create unnecessary pressure on issuers.

In a letter published on August 12, the group urged the OCC to focus on information that is useful for checking the health of stablecoin issuers and the wider market.
