Centrifuge and LI.FI Unite to Streamline Cross-Chain Access to Tokenized Assets
Centrifuge and LI.FI have partnered to make tokenized assets more accessible across different blockchain networks. The partnership aims to address fragmentation in the asset lifecycle, specifically distribution, access, and liquidity.
Centrifuge's deRWA tokens will be discoverable through consumer-facing applications like Jumper via LI.FI's routing infrastructure. This setup can extend support across other wallets, trading apps, and fintechs that already integrate with LI.FI.
The partnership connects Centrifuge's tokenized fund infrastructure with LI.FI's orchestration layer, allowing users to access Centrifuge assets from whatever supported asset they hold on a different chain. Market makers can provide users the asset they want upfront in exchange for their deRWA tokens, taking on the underlying redemption and settlement process.
According to Philipp Zentner, CEO and Co-Founder of LI.FI, 'tokenized real-world assets need to be accessible everywhere to reach mainstream onchain adoption.' The partnership aims to make RWAs easier to access wherever users already are through LI.FI's orchestration system and distribution network.
Tokenized real-world assets carry risks including settlement delays, smart contract risk, and liquidity constraints. Review the specific product's terms before investing.
