Centrifuge Tokenized Assets Soar to $1.6 Billion
Centrifuge's tokenized assets have reached a record-breaking $1.6 billion in value locked, fueled by partnerships with top asset managers like Janus Henderson.
The Zug-based protocol has seen a surge of 23% in the number of holders within just one month, now boasting about 1,100 token holders.
The bulk of Centrifuge's total value locked comes from two funds managed by Janus Henderson: JTRSY and JAAA. The first is a tokenized US Treasuries fund valued at $880 million, while the second focuses on AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations with a valuation of around $700 million.
Centrifuge has been enhancing liquidity features to support instant redemptions, which may have contributed to its growth. Recent collaborations include deals with Coinbase and Ethena, where the latter allocated $250 million to the JAAA fund.
