Cerebras Lockup Schedule to Unlock 14.6M Shares by September
A lockup is a contractual agreement between existing shareholders and employees to not sell their holdings for a set period after an initial public offering (IPO). Cerebras Systems, a US AI chipmaker, has such a lockup in place. According to the IPO prospectus, on September 16, 2026 at 10:00 UTC, 14.6 million shares will become freely sellable for the first time.
The release schedule is not publicly announced and can be found on page 190 of the IPO prospectus. The table lists a series of dates and maximum numbers of Class A shares that can be sold on each date. This schedule governs the supply of real shares, which indirectly affects tokenized stocks such as CBRSB, CBRSX, and CBRSON.
Tokenized stocks are claims against an issuer recorded on a blockchain, tracking the price of a real share. They do not represent actual ownership or create new tokens. The price movement of tokenized stocks follows the Nasdaq quote for Cerebras' stock (CBRS).
The release schedule shows that by November 9, 2026, all remaining locked shares will be available for sale.
