CFTC Sues Goliath Ventures Over Alleged $397M DeFi Liquidity Pool Scam

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has filed a lawsuit against Goliath Ventures, accusing them of running a $397 million DeFi liquidity pool Ponzi scheme.

Goliath Ventures allegedly promised investors high returns through their DeFi liquidity pool, but the CFTC claims that they were actually operating a classic Ponzi scheme.

The complaint alleges that Goliath Ventures used funds from new investors to pay returns to earlier investors, while also using some of the money for themselves.
