Chainalysis-Led Operation Targets Child Exploitation Networks with Binance, Coinbase

Chainalysis, a blockchain analysis company, led an operation to target child exploitation networks with the help of major cryptocurrency exchanges Binance and Coinbase. The operation, called 'Operation Lighthouse', aimed to combat the spread of child sex abuse materials on the internet.

The collaboration between Chainalysis and law enforcement agencies resulted in over 14,000 investigative leads being gathered. This number is a testament to the scale of the problem and the efforts being made to address it.

Binance and Coinbase provided Chainalysis with assistance in identifying and disrupting these networks. The exchanges' involvement highlights the importance of cooperation between cryptocurrency companies and law enforcement agencies in combating online child exploitation.
