Chainalysis Subsidiary Sues US Government Over $94.7 Million Contract
Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS), a subsidiary of blockchain analysis firm Chainalysis, has filed a lawsuit against the US government over a $94.7 million sole-source contract awarded to TRM Labs.
The contract, announced on July 1 and publicly disclosed on July 2, is for forensic software and support services aimed at supporting investigations by the Homeland Security Task Force's Cyber Disruption Center.
CGS had submitted a response to the government's request for information (RFI) in May, but was not selected as the sole provider due to its inability to meet the requirements of the contract.
