Chainalysis Sues US Government Over $95M ICE Contract with TRM Labs
Chainalysis, a blockchain analytics company, has filed a lawsuit against the US government over an ICE contract worth $94.6 million awarded to competitor TRM Labs.
The one-year contract, which runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, covers forensic software and support services for Homeland Security Task Force investigations.
Chainalysis alleged that ICE's decision was 'arbitrary, capricious, and unreasonable,' citing that it had submitted a capability statement in response to the notice of intent to obtain forensic software and support services from TRM Labs.
