Chainlink and Polkadot Struggle to Draw New Investors Amid Market Uncertainty
Two prominent blockchain projects, Chainlink and Polkadot, are struggling to attract new investors despite their significant infrastructure and use cases. Despite having real-world data feeds into smart contracts through oracle networks, Chainlink's LINK token has remained stagnant at $8.70, a whopping 84% below its all-time high of nearly $53.
Polkadot, which allows multiple blockchains to share security and communicate through its relay-chain-and-parachain design, has also failed to draw new capital despite introducing a hard supply cap and halving token issuance. Its DOT token trades at around $0.77, significantly below its all-time high near $55.
The lack of interest in these projects is puzzling given their importance in the industry's emerging trends, such as real-world asset tokenization and institutional DeFi.
