Chainlink Bolsters Institutional Ties with Major Integrations
Chainlink's institutional integrations are on the rise, with several major deals announced recently. The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), in collaboration with J.P. Morgan and CME Group, executed its first live production trades using tokenized US securities in July. This milestone saw over 40 institutions participating, including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, Vanguard, NYSE, Nasdaq, and CME Group.
The specific transaction involved J.P. Morgan tokenizing shares of the Invesco QQQ Trust ETF and posting them as collateral to satisfy margin requirements at CME Group, using Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Runtime Environment (CRE) as the underlying infrastructure. This built on DTCC's integration of Chainlink's Runtime Environment into its Collateral AppChain earlier in 2026.
Another notable development is Project Pangea, a cross-border FX settlement initiative launched by Chainlink in June alongside a Korean banking coalition and a 37-bank European consortium. The project aims to enable atomic Payment-versus-Payment (PvP) settlement between regulated EUR and KRW stablecoins.
Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is also gaining traction, with several projects migrating their infrastructure to CCIP in favor of its security and standardization. These deals include BitGo's move of its $7.4 billion-plus Wrapped Bitcoin infrastructure to CCIP as its exclusive cross-chain provider.
Other notable integrations mentioned by Chainlink include Robinhood adopting Chainlink as the official data and cross-chain oracle infrastructure for Robinhood Chain, Circle's Arc joining Chainlink Scale, OKX adopting Chainlink to support tokenized real-world asset activity on its X Layer network, and Prediction markets using Chainlink to power instant payout resolutions tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Chainlink's market capitalization stands at roughly $6.58 billion, with a trading volume of around $351.41 million over the past 24 hours.
