Chainlink Brings Auto Loan Market onto DeFi Rails with Kamino Integration
Chainlink's Data Streams has been integrated into Kamino Finance to provide sub-second pricing data for auto loan-backed tokens. The integration is part of a larger trend in which real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is becoming increasingly important. Figure, a fintech lender, is bringing its $1.6 trillion auto loan book onto decentralized finance rails through Hastra, a yield protocol incubated by Figure.
The AUTO markets on Kamino Finance are now live and secured by Chainlink Data Streams. The vehicle platform is backed by U.S. auto loans originated by Agora and delivered into DeFi through Figure Forge. Looping and lending strategies around AUTO are available across Kamino, with vault curation handled by Sentora and market making handled by RockawayX.
This integration extends a pattern seen throughout 2026, in which Chainlink has repeated the format of taking real-world credit products, wrapping them in compliant on-chain wrappers, and handing pricing to LINK rather than slower feeds. This has included tokenized real estate and stablecoins, with auto loans being the newest addition.
