Chainlink's data feeds have made US economic figures available on ten public blockchains. The agreement, which started in August 2025, provides blockchain applications with access to GDP, inflation, and private spending data from the US Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).

The BEA publishes some of the country's most closely watched economic reports, including real GDP, the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) Price Index, and real final sales to private domestic purchasers. Chainlink delivers these figures in a format that blockchain-based services can read and use automatically.

Supported chains include Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Botanix, Ethereum, Linea, Mantle, Optimism, Sonic, and ZKsync. While the agreement has been live since August 2025, it's unclear how many applications are currently reliant on it.

Developers could use this data to create financial products with terms that change in response to changes in inflation or economic growth. Lending platforms may also use the information when varying their risk controls.
