Chainlink Forecasted to Reach $200 as Tokenization Market Grows
Standard Chartered has set its sights on Chainlink's cryptocurrency, LINK, predicting it will reach $200 by the end of 2030. This forecast represents a nearly 25-fold increase from its current level of around $8.
The bank attributes this potential upside to the growth of tokenization and DeFi (Decentralized Finance). By the end of 2028, Standard Chartered expects the volume of tokenized assets on-chain to grow to $4 trillion, a 12-fold increase from its current level of $340 billion.
Chainlink's fee revenue is also expected to grow significantly alongside this expansion. The protocol charges fees for providing data and moving assets between networks, which could see a 25-fold increase.
