Chainlink Joins Hong Kong's Tokenized Securities Framework Launch
Chainlink has joined Hong Kong's Tokenized Securities Framework (TSF) launch alongside other prominent financial and technology companies.
The TSF aims to support the full lifecycle of tokenized securities, including issuance, distribution, compliance, and settlement.
Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Access Control for External Services (ACE) will provide cross-chain interoperability, policy enforcement, and identity management features within the framework.
The Hong Kong government-backed initiative includes participation from Cyberport, a technology hub supporting over 440 fintech companies, Apex Group, a global financial services provider with $3.5 trillion in assets across 50 jurisdictions, and CSpro, an SFC-licensed broker-dealer focused on Tokenized Securities Offerings (TSOs).
The framework addresses challenges that have limited institutional adoption of tokenized assets, such as interoperability between blockchain networks and compliance with financial regulations.
