Chainlink Labs Bolsters Legal Team with Former StarkWare and Cboe Digital General Counsel

Chainlink Labs has made a significant hire in Katherine Kirkpatrick Bos, known professionally as KK Kirkbos, who joins the decentralized oracle provider as Head of Legal. With an impressive resume built across CeFi and DeFi, Kirkbos brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at StarkWare and Cboe Digital.

Kirkbos has held key positions in the crypto industry, including General Counsel at StarkWare, where she worked on zero-knowledge rollup technology focused on Ethereum scalability. She also served as Chief Legal Officer at Cboe Digital, the crypto arm of a major exchange operator.

The hire is reportedly the result of a connection made by Ben Sherwin, Chainlink Labs' General Counsel, who reached out to Kirkbos after reading her academic work. This move highlights Chainlink's aggressive pursuit of institutional collaborations in on-chain finance, with multiple open positions within its legal and compliance departments.
